Last day in Alaska.

Tomorrow morning, we are meeting at the church at 5:30 am. We are coming back to the lower 48. Alaska was really fun and we met a lot of awesome people. I can't believe our tour has only 2 weeks left! I'm having such a great time and have learned a lot from my fellow tour members and hosts. It really is a great experience and I don't want it to end!

My tour has basically been sick since we left LA. Someone catches one thing and then it spreads and then once everyone starts to feel better something new comes along. So please keep us in your prayers. Another thing to pray for: Our flight tomorrow, that the airlines don't charge us too much for our extra equipment and for safe travels. For safety also with our vans (and when we get back to WA, our bus. Today we were really lucky. The van I was riding in had some wheel trouble. I guess whatever was holding the wheel on fell off and there was only one screw keeping it attached. Thank you God we were all right.

Thanks again for all your comments. I love reading them! :)

So...parents are always fearful of the "middle of the night" phone call. Nowdays, our house is thrilled when the phone rings at 3AM because we know it's you <3.
I was glad to hear you received the package and that you didn't encounter any bear while hiking in Alaska! I understand your disappointment in not seeing any moose or Eskimos. The old lady with 17 beds in the basement must have been concerning as well as the transportation issues. We can't wait to see some of those photos.

In case you don't know where you are going this week: Tues Corvallis OR, Wed-John Day OR, Thurs-Prineville OR (here you have a concert in the park - look for gems, apparently the area is known for them).
SENDING LOTS OF LOVE TO YOU

Woo!

Sounds like Alaska was amazing, despite the sickness and the faulty van tire. After reading your blog, however i still have questions: Was alaska cold and dark? Did you build an igloo in your spare time? Climb any glaciers? Capture any seals or mooses? Befriend any eskimos? Hope so.

Remember: smiling keeps you from vomiting(i learned it from CSI.)

I MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!
Good luck on the flight! fight for a window seat cause the carts always hit your elbows.

i love you crazy much jull!

(p.s. round island is STILL not for sale and the other day we went to that creepy playground behind that school in southington, but didnt go in cause it was creepy and i thought briny could out run me if she had to.)
